At this morning's remote at Maddox and Hughes Insurance on Hamilton Road in Bossier,  a woman drove by on her way to drop off her children at school with a cookie canister full of cash,  bills and checks.

Gary McCoy with Townsquare Media says the money was enough to make a merry Christmas for nearly 70 children.

Now that's what I'm talking 'bout!

KWKH listener Fred Hapgood with ABC Auto Parts came by to say hello and drop off $10 for a  toy.   In exchange for new unwrapped toys,  or monetary donations,  folks received  donuts and a goodie bag as way of saying thank you.http://www.facebook.com/maddoxandhughesinsurance

Scott and Todd Maddox of  Maddox and Hughes Insurance  said they would match  donations today to give to a couple of local charities including the Bossier Animal Shelter.
