Shocking news came out of Benton High School on Wednesday, where we heard of the dismissal of popular head football coach Caleb Guidry.

Benton's principal tells The Tiger why this move has taken place, what coaches he has spoken to, and his take on three rival schools who are looking for head coaches.

Former Benton Tigers head coach Caleb Guidry served as Benton's leader since the 2009 season. Guidry compiled a record of 26-29, which includes a 4-6 overall record this past season.

As of Wednesday, the Benton Tigers decided to go in a different direction and Benton's principal Mitch Downey tells The Tiger why the move was made.
