The LSU-Eunice Bengals trailed going into the bottom of the 9th inning, but they were able to comeback and defeat the Lackawanna College Falcons 4-3 on Saturday night.

The Bengals came into the bottom of the 9th inning, trailing to the Lackawanna College Falcons.

Bengals' first baseman Buddy McCoy singled to start a rally for LSU-Eunice.

After McCoy was lifted for pinch runner Keagan Kratzer, Landon Thibodeaux's bunted Kratzer to second base, but a costly error by the Falcons' pitcher caused the throw to go into the outfield. That error allowed the winning run to advance to third base.

The very next batter, Garrett Deschamp, launched a 1-2 pitch deep into center field, allowing the winning run to come home.

The Bengals get the come from behind 4-3 victory over the Lackawanna College Falcons.

In 7 1/3 innings, Bengals starting pitcher Brady Domanque walked five batters, along with striking out five and allowed three runs on eight hits.

The LSU-Eunice Bengals now advance to the winners bracket of the National Junior College Athletic Association World Series. The Bengals will next play the winner of the Scottsdale Community College and Grand Rapids Community College contest, Monday at 7 p.m.
