An In-Depth List Of Celebrities Who Have Been Canceled
Earlier this week, three time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers took on Cancel Culture in a very public attack. In doing so, he became one of the most mainstream voices to take on the toxic cyberbullying behavior to date. He also became one of the biggest celebrity names that hasn't been attacked by the Cancel Culture mob to denounce them.
But since his monologue on Cancel Culture went viral, the Cancel Culture current has flown his way...Aaron Rodgers is now being Canceled for being anti-Cancel Culture.
For those not familiar with Cancel Culture, or being Canceled, the idea is that if someone does something that offends just one person, they have to lose their career. The Cancel Culture groups form online and attack the person, their friends, their fans, their supporters, employers, and sponsors...until the person has nothing left. You don't have to commit a crime to be Canceled, you don't even have to do anything wrong to be Canceled. Just when they decide its time for you to go, they attack.
There is often confusion between cancel culture and consequence culture. Consequence culture is reality, where if you break a law, you face consequences. Defenders of cancel culture will often try to add people like Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby, or R. Kelly into cancel culture. But those men broke laws, and faced consequences, not cancellation.
When you actually look at how many celebrities have been Canceled, and why, you realize this whole thing is dumb. I found over 75 celebrities that have been Canceled for various reasons. I didn't pull all of them into this list, but we have a lot.
From Taylor Swift to Justin Timberlake, Chris Pratt to Ariana Grande...they've all been Canceled. Even really new stars like Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, and Harry Styles have all been Canceled by Cancel Culture. Even Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, and Adele aren't safe.
Not only did we put together a VERY large list, we even brought the receipts. Cancel Culture defenders will often say that challengers are "blowing Cancel Culture out of proportion", or will go as far to say that "Cancel Culture is a myth". It is both real, and a very big problem. We have listed links to all of the stories of these celebrities getting Canceled, so the Cancel Culture club can't deny them.
Here is the list...
