The #1 Alabama Crimson Tide took down #13 Mississippi State Saturday night without a problem with a 38-7 victory.

This coming Saturday night they face the #6 LSU Tigers at Tiger Stadium, (Death Valley) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Alabama scored three touchdowns on on it's first three possessions of the ball and had a 21-0 lead in just over a minute into the second quarter.

Crimson Tide linebacker CJ Mosley said,"We felt like we had something to prove, because they felt like they could come in our house and beat us, as a defense we did a great job of stopping the run and making them try to beat us with the pass."

Alabama coach Nick Saban said, "We certainly had a lot of respect for Mississippi State, you don't get to be 7-0 by accident. I think it was important for us to get off to a fast start in this game, preparing yourself to fight a 15-round fight, knowing that you're going to have to take the fight to them in the early rounds.

The Bulldogs lost two fumbles and an interception and couldn't manage to score till the last few minutes of the game with backup quarterback Dak Prescott's 2-yard touchdown pass to Robert Johnson.

Alabama QB AJ McCarron was successful at making 16 of 23 passes before being injured with a bruised back. He didn't play in the fourth quarter but Nick Saban said he will be fine for the LSU game at Tiger Stadium, (Death Valley) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
