Shreveport, La. The AdvoCare V100 Bowl is again partnering with NCAA Football to host a free NCAA Football Youth Clinic on Saturday, June 8, from 8 a.m.–11:30 a.m. at Independence Stadium.

The clinic is open to all boys and girls, ages 5 to 13, and will feature instruction from college football coaches and student-athletes. The participants will engage in offensive, defensive and agility drills, learning proper techniques to promote safety, as well as character development and good sportsmanship.

A free lunch will be provided to each participant at the conclusion of the clinic.

University of Louisiana at Monroe head football coach Todd Berry will be the keynote speaker for the clinic. He will be joined by additional coaches from ULM, LSU, Louisiana College, Alabama State University and Mississippi Valley State University as instructors for the clinic.

“I think we have a great opportunity to work with young kids on a great game, and a great life-lesson game,” Berry said. “Regardless if they become a star football player or not, the more young people you can encourage to get involved in the game and teach the life lessons of the game, I think is a great opportunity for myself and our staff, and we’re excited about that opportunity.”
