A Letter to Our ‘Hook’N Up & Track’N Down Show’ Fans
When I had a brainstorm seven years ago to do an outdoor radio/TV show, I had no idea that the show would be where it is today. But what a ride it’s been!
Meeting and greeting so many people with a passion and love for God’s great outdoors has truly been an awesome experience. Each and every week Mike Echols, Gary McCoy and I try and bring you a quality show that’s both educational and entertaining.
I am truly blessed to have two of greatest guys as co-hosts with Gary and Mike. Both bring a wealth of outdoors knowledge and professionalism to our program.
Gary McCoy is probably one of the best radio professionals who has a CMA to his credit and is also a great hunter and fisherman in his own right. Mike Echols is not only a great outdoorsman, but is one of the wittiest people I know with an extensive background as a touring angler, duck hunting guide and one of the best bass tournament directors in north Louisiana.
Each week we schedule the "best in the business,” whether it's great hunters or great anglers from the world of professional bass fishing.
We’ve had the opportunity to interview the greatest names in fishing with Ray Scott, Forest and Nina Wood, LA Pro Greg Hackney, Jimmy Houston, Jerry McKinnis, the great Bill Dance as well as 4 time Bassmaster Classic Champion Kevin Van Dam.
Plus, we've had great hunters like Lee and Tiffany Lakosky, Jim Strelic, Dr. James Kroll, Ted Nugent and Fishing & Hunting Texas host Wade Middleton.
Now, there are many more I have left out, but what an honor it has been to meet all these great people who have a passion for the outdoors. We really are the luckiest guys in the world to get to come on the radio and television each week and talk about all things related to the great outdoors.
If you’re not a listener or a viewer, we encourage you to tune in every Wednesday from 11AM-1PM live on 1130 The Tiger and see what you’ve been missing.
We want to thank Townsquare Media and KWKH 1130 The Tiger, KNTS TV-19 in Natchitoches and KLNM TV of Lufkin/Nacogdoches, Texas for all their support of our program and we look forward to many more years of great outdoors radio and TV entertainment.
