Since 2008, four of the Alabama Crimson Tide's losses have been in the month of November which makes it the month that Nick Saban's team is most vulnerable.

Looking back in time we find that, all four opponents had more than the usual week to prepare for Alabama. So looking at the 2013 football schedule it's fairly easy to determine the team most likely to beat them.

What will it take?

  • A top-10 team on the November schedule with an off week before meeting the Crimson Tide.
  • A team with an experienced quarterback similar to Tim Tebow.
  • A head coach who’s either won a national title or is on his way to one, not unlike Urban Meyer or Steve Spurrier.

Alabama will play four games in November, and three of them don't make any difference; at Mississippi State, at home against Chattanooga and at Auburn.

That leaves one team, and that team is the LSU Tigers. LSU is the only team that’s beaten Alabama more than once since 2008.

The LSU Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide both have an open date before the November 9 battle in Tuscaloosa, where Alabama’s last three losses have happened. If LSU doesn't lose to the Georgia Bulldogs and Florida Gators, when the go to Bryant-Denny Stadium they will be 8-1 and ranked in the top 10 with veteran quarterback Zach Mettenberger and BCS championship coach Les Miles.
That's not really a prediction, it's just science.
