It looks like all of Les Miles' LSU Tigers starters are pretty much familiar LSU football players, with all but one having already played in at least four games.

Jerald Hawkins-Right Tackle

Les Miles was impressed enough with Jerald Hawkins after Josh Williford was injured in preseason to put him in the starting lineup. He didn't allow any sacks and recorded 20 pancakes.

Elliott Porter-Center

Porter played in 10 games last season and and with the experience puts him in as a starter of snapping for Zach Mettenberger in 2012 puts Porter in to play.

Dillon Gordon-Tight End

There is some what of a tight end race here and it is possible that Travis Dickson and DeSean Smith might be starting games this season too. Currently Gordon is practicing with the first team since he's the best blocking tight end. When times comes for tossing the ball around Smith and Dickson will most likely be in.

Jermauria Rasco-Defensive End

It is now time for Jermauria Rasco to to drive that defensive line at the end position after sitting behind Barkevious Mingo and Sam Montgomery. rasco came to LSU as a 5-star recruit from Evangel Christian Academy.

Jordan Allen-Defensive End

A knee enjury kept Allen out last season but he impressed them at camp and is in a great position to start this season as defensive end. He'll most likely rotate with Danielle Hunter and Tashawn Bower throughout the season.

Ego Ferguson-Defensive Tackle

Ferguson is a huge guy, 6'3", 309-pounds and has the experience going into the 2013 season after playing 26 games in and has has 27 total tackles in his LSU career.

D.J. Welter-Middle Linebacker

Since the beginning of spring Welter has gotten stronger. Welter is still the starter, and he continues to demonstrate his strong run defense.

Ronald Martin-Free Safety

Playing only 16 games mostly as a reserve, Martin recorded 38 tackles and an interception for the Tigers. He played all 13 games last season and will be the only new full-time starter in the secondary this year.
