LSU’s Matt Canada Will Make More Than $1 Million Per Season
It's good to be Matt Canada.
Not only does he get to take over the offense for one of the top programs in the SEC, he's going to be paid incredibly well for it. Here are the details from the Louisiana Radio Network:
"LSU offensive coordinator Matt Canada will reportedly make $1.5 million dollars a year as part of a three year deal with the Tigers. Combined with DC Dave Aranda’s $1.8 million dollar annual salary, it’s likely that LSU will have the highest coordinator pay ever."
Canada will be paid more than former Offensive Coordinator Cam Cameron, who's 2016 salary was $1.2 Million a year. Cameron was also one of the Top 10 highest paid assistants in the country, but Canada's salary will likely put him into the Top 5 for this season.
