There were many eye opening stats on Saturday night in Death Valley on Saturday night after the LSU Tigers defeat the Auburn Tigers 35-21.

LSU running back Jeremy Hill did most of the damage in Saturday night's game. Hill had 25 carries, rushed for a total of 183 yards and scored three touchdowns. His longest touchdown came from 49 yards out, into the end zone.

Another stat that catches the eye is the total of 893 yards in the game between Auburn and LSU.

The lines on both Zack Mettenberger and Nick Marshall, the starting quarterback for Auburn, were similar. Mettenberger was 14/22 with 229 yards with two touchdown passes and one interception. Marshall was 17/33 with 224 yards with no touchdowns and one interception.

Final score: 35-21.
