LSU Baseball has been a bit of an enigma this season. The team started the year as one of the top two highest ranked teams in the nation. But they've dropped some very winnable games, and seem to struggle with Southland Conference teams.

But now the Tigers are entering SEC play, which gives them a chance to shine on one of the biggest stages in all of college baseball, and they took full advantage of that over the weekend. Here's more from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"In the D-1 baseball rankings, LSU has moved up two spots to number five after sweeping Georgia. Tigers Coach Paul Mainieri says anytime you can sweep a team in the SEC, you have to be happy. LSU scored 34 runs during the three game series.

This week, LSU hosts Southeastern Louisiana on Wednesday and visits Florida this weekend."

All of this week's LSU Baseball can be heard in the Shreveport and Bossier area on 1130AM, which is 1130 The Tiger KWKH.
