There's a bit of excitement around the LSU Baseball program as they have two new additions to the squad.

LSU gets help in their lineup with the signings of catcher Kade Scivicque and pitcher Troy Whitty.

Scivicque, who will enter the program as a junior, comes to Baton Rouge from Southwest Mississippi Community College. At SMCC, Scivicque batted an impressive .321 with four home runs, 12 doubles, 37 RBI and a fielding percentage of .991.

Whitty arrives in Louisiana as a freshman from The Dexter School in Easton, Massachusetts. While in high school, Whitty had an impressive record of 15-1. He also threw a perfect game and a no-hitter.
