Byrd Yellow Jackets vs Marshall Maverics in Battle on the Border [VIDEO]

The Byrd Yellow Jackets will face the Marshall Mavericks this Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at Independence Stadium in game #1 during the second annual Battle on the Border.

Kickoff for game #2 is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. as West Monroe High School vs. Calvary Baptist Academy.

Due to scheduling conflicts on 1130 The Tiger, the Byrd – Marshall game will be carried live on 96.5 KVKI.

Fans inside Independence Stadium can tune into the live feed of the game at FM 105.1.

This is a gigantic football spectacular with loads of fun for the whole family including musical entertainment, and the Family Fun Zone featuring inflatable games, fitness stations, face painting and cheerleader/spirit squad appearances from participating schools.

Pregame general admission tickets are $10 and $15 on game day.

$50 club level tickets are available only at the State Fair of Louisiana and Independence Bowl Foundation box offices.
