BEAU AND BRYCE JORDAN: THE TWINS IN PURPLE AND GOLD

The LSU Tigers are continuing to hold on to the "Rally Possum" into the SEC tournament this weekend as the Tigers have won 13 out of 14 games this month. The Bayou Bengals lineup is anchored by the set of identical twin brothers Bryce and Beau Jordan. The Lake Charles natives have had a great sophomore year and hoping to continue this run to win the SEC tournament and hopefully get seeded in the top eight.

Bryce and Beau Jordan have almost the exact accomplishments and awards from high school where they attended Barbe High in Lake Charles. Beau was a 2014 Baseball America All- American, Louisville Slugger All-American and a two time All State player. Bryce was named a Louisville Slugger All-American and was also a two time All State player, while he batted with a .481 batting average and a outstanding .640 on base percentage. Bryce also set a national high school record for how many times he was hit by pitch in a carrer (67). Both Bryce and Beau won two state championships with the Barbe Bucs in 2012 and 2014.

This year the twins have their eyes set on bringing a national championship back to Baton Rouge for the first time since 2009. Bryce and Beau both are having strong season this year with Bryce hitting .314 batting avg. with 5 homers and slugging percentage of .442, Bryce who is a on base machine will be a true leader with his respectable attitude and will become a great LSU baseball player in the coming years. The other Jordan,Beau, is hitting .307 with 4 home runs and slugging percentage of .411 and Beau is a great addition the the Tigers lineup with his versatility and his attitude toward baseball and others which will make him a soon-to-be leader of the Tigers in the next year. Maybe Coach Mainieri will abandon his no facial hair policy so he can tell this two apart.  Also isn't kind of weird how identical the stats are between the two? (pun intended)
