It's pretty strange that former NBA star Dennis Rodman went to North Korea and hung out with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. They watched basketball together, even drank and dined on sushi together.

According to TIME Swampland, Kim Jong Un calls America “the sworn enemy of the Korean people”. We have posted a YouTube video produced by North Korea showing the destruction of Manhattan, check it out if you have a minute.

The White House turned down an invitation by Rodman from Kim Jong Un to grab the phone and call to chat with Kim Jong Un.

White House spokesman Jay Carney said, “The United States has direct channels of communications with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and instead of spending money on celebrity sporting events to entertain the elites of that country, the North Korean regime should focus on the well-being of its own people who have been starved, imprisoned, and denied their human rights.”

Patrick Ventrell of The State Department said, “North Korean words and stunts such as this have no meaning, what matters is the actions they take and the need to come in line with their international obligations.”

When leaving North Korea, Dennis Rodman called leader Kim Jong Un an "awesome guy" and said his father and grandfather were "great leaders".
