Zach Mettenberger Allegedly Sucker Punched by Alabama Fan

Former LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger was reportedly sucker-punched by an Alabama football fan over the weekend.

According to Yardbarker.com, Mettenberger, who is now a quarterback for the Tennessee Titans, was minding his own business at Losers Most Wanted Bar and Grill in Nashville when a guy attempted to provoke the former LSU Tiger with a "Roll Tide!"

The bar owner says Mettenberger kept his cool and only replied with a "good luck with that!" The witness claims that's when the Bama fan's friend sucker-punched Mettenberger and then fled.

Bar security had to chase down the sucker-puncher outside of the bar and eventually caught up with him.  Bar owner Steve Ford says Mettenberger and his team-mates that were there did nothing wrong and that Zach never threw a punch.

Mettenberger has not pressed any charges.
