Wounded Soldier Reunites With Dog Found in Afghanistan [VIDEO]
Donny Eslinger, a U.S. Soldier on tour of duty in Afghanistan, adopted an adorable dog that he named Smoke-pup Barbarian.
But after Eslinger was critically wounded during a mortar attack and shipped to Germany, he was forced to leave his dog behind.
But thanks to the efforts of an organization called The Puppy Rescue Mission, Eslinger was recently reunited with the war hound.
Both of them are now enjoying each other’s company in Bethesda, MA, where Eslinger is recovering. Hopefully both Smoke-pup and Donny Eslinger were given a hero’s welcome.
