College Football is the second most popular sport in America, behind only the NFL. That's right, just the professional version of the same game tops it.

That's why you see College Football merch everywhere. It's sold in almost every big box store, at gas stations, and sometimes even in random parking lots. People will find colleges to support with deep passion, even if they've never personally known anyone that attended the school.

College Football has been a big part of American pop culture for over 100 years, pre-dating the NFL by decades. Even though the NFL has overtaken the college version of the sport in recent generations.

Often NFL fans will bring up a lot about the college ranks based on who their team has recently drafted. Or sometimes it can be as simple as where their best player played their college football. But we're going to introduce a new reason why NFL fans might start bringing up a college.

The brand new Head Coach of the New Orleans Saints, Kellen Moore, holds one of the most impressive College Football records of all time. He is the Winningest Quarterback in College Football History.

Moore played his College Football at Boise State, where he was a part of a massive program breakthrough. This era of Boise teams were shattering the ceiling placed on some programs by polls and computers. Forcing their way onto the national stage, and competing, no, BEATING blueblood football programs.

Over his career, Moore went 50-3 as a starter.

Moore's three career losses were against #11 TCU in the 2008 Poinsettia Bowl, #19 Nevada in an overtime thriller during the 2010 season, and a 1-point upset (his only home loss in his Boise career) against TCU in 2011. Never more than one loss in a year, and the largest margin was 3 points during the overtime loss. The other two losses were by 1-point each.

Now, Moore is the Head Coach in New Orleans. Which gives Saints fans a reason to squirrel away this little nugget of knowledge for a trivia night.
