School is cancelled today for hundreds of youngsters in the Shreveport Bossier area because of power troubles.

But not all of the schools are closed.

Caddo school leaders say there will be no class today at 13 schools that have been left without power in the overnight storms.

Booker T. Washington High
Walnut Hill Elementary/Middle

Mooringsport Elementary
Eden Gardens Elementary
Ridgewood Middle

Here's the List of Bossier Schools Closed Today:

Today, all schools in Haughton and Plain Dealing will be closed due to widespread power outages and damage from last night's storm. This includes Haughton Elementary, Haughton Middle, Haughton High, T.L. Rodes, Platt, Princeton and Plain Dealing High.

All other Bossier Parish schools will be open as normal. However, if students or employees cannot get to school or their work site or it would be dangerous to do so, they will be excused.
