GNC has announced it will close up to 900 stores, specifically their mall stores. GNC's CFO claims that they will probably cut half of the GNC mall locations. Right now, GNC has over 5,000 locations all over the U.S.

Despite GNC already closing down 200 stores just in the first 6 months of this year, they need to close down another 900. Could we be seeing the GNC stores in the Pierre Bossier Mall and Mall St. Vincent go away? Would the GNC location at the Louisiana Boardwalk be considered a mall location? We hope that we can at least take advantage of some stellar going out of business sales at GNC.

We have 7 different locations in Shreveport Bossier. The idea that we could lose almost half of our GNC stores is concerning. Do you regularly shop at GNC? Would you be upset if they started closing stores down?

We have 5 Star Nutrition locations that seem to be doing well in Shreveport and Bossier, could GNC enthusiasts have to start shopping at places like 5 Star Nutrition?
