ULM Dealt Tough News About Their QB
Tough news coming out of Monroe today, as we've learned that ULM QB Garrett Smith will be missing the rest of the season. Here's the story from the Louisiana Radio Network:
"ULM Quarterback Garrett Smith is done of the season after tearing his ACL in the win over Texas State. Redshirt freshman Will Collins will take his place. He threw two touchdowns in Saturday’s homecoming win."
One of Collins' two touchdowns was to Natchitoches Central alum RJ Turner, who snagged his second TD of the season. Turner currently leads ULM in receiving yardage this season, and will look to build on that with Collins under center.
