Tonight, UL Lafayette hosts Coastal Caroline at Cajun Field in Lafayette. The Chanticleers haven't had a some since Hurricane Florence made landfall in the Carolinas.

Coastal has been displaced from their campus in Conway, South Carolina, because of Hurricane Florence and the flooding its left behind. They prepared for this game in St Augustine, Florida, practicing at three different high schools, while staying at the Renaissance Hotel and World Golf Village.

ULL isn't unfamiliar with what Coastal is going through right now. With plenty of players from the Gulf Coast on their roster, the players themselves are too familiar with storms, and the damage they can leave behind.

The program is also very familiar with the impact of storms. Especially considering the fact that Cajun Field played host for the New Orleans Bowl in 2005, after the game was displaced from New Orleans due to Hurricane Katrina.

If there's any team that understands what Coastal Carolina is going through right now, it's probably ULL.
