An interesting era in LSU football history starts its final chapter tonight. There are over 20 players on the LSU football roster who will be playing their final game in Tiger Stadium tonight. Some are underclassmen who will declare for the NFL Draft, or decide to transfer. But a good portion are seniors who will be playing their final game.

The first senior class recruited by Les Miles to play an entire season without him.

I guess this will probably be remembered as a "transitional" class. It's not a full rebuild, but there's definitely some growing pains between coaching leadership.

As the LSU Tigers host Texas A-and-M tonight, those twenty seniors, including quarterback Danny Etling, will play their final game in Tiger Stadium. Etling is 15-and-6 as LSU’s starting quarterback.

This could be the final game for another at their school too, but not just "final home game". There are reports Aggies Head Coach Kevin Sumlin will get fired as early as the end of tonight's game.

The pre-game radio broadcast starts today at 4:30, with kick-off at 6:30, and all of it can be heard on 1130 The Tiger.
