The comeback is complete for the Rangers

Texas topped Houston 6-5 on a Mitch Moreland sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 9th, after blowing a four-run first inning lead.

The Rangers now lead the Astros by a half-game for the American League West lead. According to Elias Sports Bureau, Texas is just the sixth team since divisional play started in 1969 to take sole possession of first place for the first time this late in the season.  The Dallas Morning News reports Texas is attempting to become just the fifth team to win their division after trailing first place by at least eight games in August.

Texas hosts Houston in game three of their pivotal four game series tonight.
