Northwestern State head football coach, Jay Thomas welcomes his 2015 squad to campus, with all players reporting today, checking into Varnado Dorm at noon to open camp. Every player gets their practice gear, newcomers receive physical exams and then there's a team dinner before the Natchitoches screening of, "Delaney", the ESPN 30-for-30 film spotlighting former Demon Joe Delaney.

Thomas, on the cusp of his third year as the Demons head coach,  is excited to get camp started, saying the team will go old-school by staying in the same dorm together the first two weeks. "The guys get fed like kings. The first night in, we're going to eat ribeyes and shrimp, then walk the red carpet and go to the ESPN 30 for 30 "Delaney" film screening."

The team's first practice will be Thursday after a day full of meetings and orientation.
