Byrd and Calvary get together tonight at Lee Hedges Stadium in a match-up of two of the area's top programs.  The non-district game kicks off at 7pm and serves as the first game back on the sideline for Cavaliers head coach John Bachman, who took a voluntarily leave of absence at the beginning of the season, missing the jamboree and Calvary's first two games of the season.

This is the third year in a row the two schools have locked helmets on the field.  Byrd popped the Cavs 42-14 last year and walloped Calvary 48-21 in 2013.

Byrd is 2-0, coming off a win over east Texas powerhouse Longview in the Battle on the Border last weekend,  The Cavs are 1-1, earning their first win of the year with a thrashing of Peabody.
