Adrian Beltre tied a major league baseball record by hitting for the cycle for the third time in his career, powering Texas past Houston Monday night in Arlington, 12-9.  Beltre's big night got started with a two-run triple in the first inning that helped send Lance McCullers to the showers after just one-third of an inning.

The Rangers crept a game closer to the front-running Astros with the win and get another chance to close the gap by another game tonight.
