It was another great night for LSU hoops, as they start out of the gate strong.

The Tigers went on an 11-0 run to expand their lead in the 1st half as they outran the McNeese State Cowboys 73-48. The LSU Tigers improve to 2-0, on the season.

LSU's Shavon Coleman had the loudest roar of the game, as he attacks the rim in the 1st half, for 23 points in the first half. Coleman finished with a total of 25 for the game.

The Tigers roared to a 17-9 lead, with the defense locking down the Cowboys. Coleman netted 10 in the early going, and Anthony Hickey exposed the McNeese defense's flaws when he hit the first of his three first-half 3-pointers.

Perhaps the craziest stat of the night, McNeese State did not score one 3 pointer in this game, they went 0-for-12.

With tonight's victory, the Tigers improve to 21-0 overall in their series against the McNeese State Cowboys.

The Tigers have the week off, until next Tuesday when they face another Southland Conference opponent, the Northwestern State Demons.
