Tigers Ready for Final Journey to Omaha

Just two wins away from a trip to Omaha, Nebraska and the College World Series, LSU will try to get that first win Friday morning, when the Tigers host Stony Brook in Game 1 of the Baton Rouge Super Regional.

First pitch is set for shortly after 11am at Alex Box Stadium. You can hear the game LIVE on 1130 The Tiger. Each game in the series will be televised by ESPN 2.

The Tigers (46-16) and Seawolves (50-12) will play a best two-out-of-three series. Game 2 will be Saturday at 11am. Game 3, if necessary, will be Sunday at Noon.

LSU Head Coach Paul Mainieri is not expected to announce his pitching rotation until after Thursday's practice. However Mainieri has said that if
