The Most Popular Month for Getting a Divorce?

If you're  having arguments with your spouse and you're just not getting along this month, there may be a good reason for it.  March is the most popular month for divorces.

According to a consumer legal website Findlaw,  more people file for divorce in March than any other month.

FindLaw reports searches for terms like “divorce,” “family law” and “child custody” jump more than 50 percent between December and January, reaching a peak in March — a trend that mirrors divorce filings across the country.

Experts say the reasons for filing for divorce in March  could include taxes (jointly filing as a married couple can be a money-saver), holiday affairs that have recently been discovered, and parents who stayed together just long enough for their kids to have one more family Christmas.
