The Little Mermaid Trailer 2018 (Video)

Remember the Little Mermaid from your childhood that was one of the most popular Disney movies of all time? This is nothing like that movie!

The trailer for the new Little Mermaid came out this week and has a lot of people confused. The movie is a re-imaging of the beloved tale and takes place in Mississippi... Oh and her name is now Elizabeth not Ariel. Understandably this movie doesn't look to have any connection with Disney but it'd be like taking Peter Pan and having him in NYC driving taxis.

The movie will be in theaters this Summer with a release date of August 17th. Watch the trailer below...
