The Best of Times hosts “Community Forum” on October 19th

on Medicare Changes and Medicare Advantage Plans

For the past 10 years, The Best of Times – senior newsmagazine and radio talk show, primary mission has been to serve the senior community in Northwest Louisiana to help them keep up-to-date so that they can make informed decisions. As Medicare will soon be changing in 2012, Medicare beneficiaries need to learn the latest information to make informed decisions during the upcoming Medicare Annual Enrollment Period from October 15, 2011 to December 7, 2011.

Therefore, The Best of Times, is hosting a “Community Forum” on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 9 am to 1 pm at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum located at 3015 Greenwood Road in Shreveport where representatives of all of the Medicare Advantage Providers in the area have been invited to make presentations about their health care plans at the same time and place. Also, during this “Community Forum”, the attendees will have the opportunity to enroll, and/or to arrange for appointments to learn more about these health care plans. Medicare beneficiaries residing in Caddo and Bossier parishes of Louisiana are invited to attend this forum with no admission fee and convenient free parking. Light refreshments will be provided.

Attendees will be also eligible to win some fabulous door prizes, including the GRAND DOOR PRIZE ---- a Pride Mobility Three wheel "GO-GO Elite Traveller" scooter valued at $1,575 donated by AllMed Mobility of Shreveport-Bossier City. Must be present to win door prizes. Please arrive early as seating is limited.
