Texas Tech Basketball Player Gets Offered NIL Deal Mid-Game
Texas Tech Basketball raced to a big lead against Oklahoma State Thursday night at the United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock, going on a 10-0 run capped off by this Adonis Arms dunk after a steal and fast break.
Arms is just continuing a hot streak that started in the last few weeks and reached a high point against Baylor on Tuesday. We all remember this dunk from earlier this week against Baylor:
Oklahoma State would fight back with runs of their own before Adonis struck again, this time from deep. Arms would finish the first half with 13 points.
Arms and the Red Raiders would finish the second half with a 42-27 lead and wouldn't give the Cowboys any breathing room in the second half, suffocating Oklahoma State with major droughts and plenty of points on their own accord. The final score would end up at 78-57 with Texas Tech getting five players in double-figures led by Kevin Obanor with 17. Marcus Santos-Silva would throw in 10 points of the bench and add 10 boards for the double-double, his first of the season and 13th of his career.
Bryce Thompson would lead Oklahoma State in scoring with 14 points.
The game was in hand early in the second half, which is about when a certain chicken restaurant slid into the DMs of the first half star Adonis Arms saying, "Sounds like Arms needs some fingers... Chicken Fingers. Check your DMs."
Arms will be the second Red Raider basketball player with a deal at Raising Cane's if one is worked out after Kevin McCullar landed one this summer.
