The New Orleans Saints will be without the services of their starting left tackle for the next few weeks.

The 27-year old Armstead has had a history of injuries, missing 6 games last season, after suffering a torn labrum which required surgery, and 9 games in 2016, after suffering a knee injury, while never playing in all 16 games in his 6-year NFL career.

The Saints selected Armstead, who played his college football at Arkansas-Pine Bluff, in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
