LSU coach Les Miles sent quarterback Jordan Jefferson, #9, into the game against Kentucky in the first quarter for the first time since his suspension was lifted this past week. The boos started when the troubled quarterback stepped out on the field. The No. 4 LSU Tigers football team killed the No. 3 Oregon Ducks on Saturday in Cowboys Stadium. Cornerback Tyrann Mathieu, named SEC Defensive Player of the Week, stripped and scored on punt coverage to set the tone early in the game. The LSU defense forced two turnovers, and back to back fumble recoveries in the third quarter that put the Tigers ahead 30-13. LSU won with 20 points off turnovers

With less than a minute to play, No. 12 LSU faked a 53-yard field goal before Jarrett Lee tossed a 3-yard touchdown to Terrence Toliver with six seconds left, as the Tigers completed a comeback victory over No. 14 Florida in The Swamp on Saturday, October 9th 2010, 33-29.
