Thanks to Twitter updates from co-writer Ed Solomon, fans were treated to a "play-by-play" as cast and crew gathered in N'awlins for rehearsals & cast dinners.
Bill & Ted 3 has been in the works for years, and while that prolonged development time isn’t any worse than, say, waiting for a new Pixar sequel, keep in mind that it’s been 25 years since Bill S. Preston, Esquire and Ted Theodore Logan last graced the big screen. Over the last few years, both Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter have assured fans that they’re very much committed to making the sequel once they’ve perfected the script and budget (and cleared their respective schedules). The latest update comes from Winter, who says the duo could reunite later this year or early next year to film Bill & Ted 3 — which definitely sounds like progress, but don’t start holding your breath just yet.
Just when he thought he was out, they pull him back in. Last we saw of Keanu Reeves’ John Wick, he’d effectively wiped out the shady criminals responsible for killing his puppy and stealing his cool car (and, you know, other shady criminal activities), and then he walked off into the sunset with an adorable new rescue pup — presumably returning to his comfortable early retirement. Not so fast, as the sequel promises to put Wick back to work with a new set of problems, and the first official synopsis sheds more light on what those problems will be.
Keanu Reeves may be a big time movie star, but he’s not above common courtesy. While traveling downtown on New York City’s Q train, Reeves gives his subway seat to a woman. What a gentleman!
