Great Television Westerns

Gunsmoke has to be the most famous Great television Western of all. James Arness played Marshal Matt Dillion. I always wondered why Matt didn't fall down during the gun fight at the beginning of the show. Watch this video clip and you'll see that the bad guy shoots first.

I think this show was always in color. Correct me if I'm wrong. It stared Barbara Stanwyck, Richard Long, Peter Breck, Lee Majors and Linda Evans.
