Super Troopers 2 Gets Release Date

In case you haven't heard, Erik Stolhanske aka Rabbit from 'Super Troopers' will be one of many awesome guests at Geek'd this weekend at the Shreveport Convention Center. And, just ahead of Rabbit getting to town, we've got some BIG news about 'Super Troopers 2'.

While it 'officially' hasn't been confirmed, Broken Lizard OG Steve Lemme (aka Mac) gave a pretty big hint about the release of the new film. In a recent interview when asked if the film has a release date yet, Lemme said There is, but I can't tell you what it is. Here's what I can tell you: It's springtime and there's a very obvious date, which happens to fall on a Friday this year.'

Which, if you really think about it, tells us everything we need to know. If you grab a calendar, think about the content of the movie and make certain assumptions about the audience...you can more or less guarantee that the film will be hitting theatres on April 20th, 2018.

Yup...the new Super Troopers will be in theatres on 4/20. Happy Geek'd Con Eve. 
