Jobs revolutionized the world with amazing inventions that so many of us use everyday,  the  I-phone,  I-pad,  even your computer.   He had such an interesting life story.   Did you know he actually dropped out of college after one semester?

There were so many pivotal moments in his career that made him a wealthy icon.

One such time was when he founded Apple Computer and it went public in 1980. That made a 25-year-old Jobs worth $239 million.

Another time was  when he bought Disney's  Pixar Animation Studios for $10 million from Star Wars film maker George Lucas in 1986.

That's because the first Disney Pixar movie was the incredibly successful "Toy Story,"  which made Jobs a billionaire when Pixar stock was sold on the market.

All three "Toy Story" movies are favorites with my children.  We've certainly all downloaded our share of favorite songs from the  I-Tunes Music Store,   which was another of his inventions.   And the I-phone,  well they all want one and probably will have  one someday.

In 2004,   Jobs health began to fail him when he underwent surgery for a rare,  but treatable form of pancreatic cancer,  the kind that took actor Patrick  Swayze's  life.  Jobs had a liver transplant in 2009.

The technology guru's  influence was so far-reaching,  it's hard to convey what his life has meant to our way of life.  You may have already seen Jobs' inspirational speech to graduates of Stanford University in 2005.

I'm struck by his humility as such a  powerful wealthy entrepreneur.
Here's a much younger Jobs talking business.
