Two Golden Ticket Winners from the legendary stand up comedy podcast Kill Tony will be coming to Bossier City this October.

Before we get to who they are, for the uninitiated, Kill Tony is a stand up comedy podcast that has been running non-stop since 2013. The concept of the show is that comedian Tony Hinchliffe and his producer Brian Redban host random guests for 60 seconds of uninterrupted stand up comedy. These "guests" are normally just that...guests who showed up to the performance. They're a mix of regular people who have never done stand up comedy before, and undiscovered comedians trying to break through.

Hinchliffe and Redban are normally joined by a rotating cast of comedians and celebrities. The panel will critique, praise, insult, and sometimes form professional relationships with performers. They do this after the 60 second set, when the panel interviews the guest. This is mostly a benign interaction that generates some laughs, but sometimes its where the panel roasts a particularly bad performer, or a performer who becomes difficult.

During these interviews, there is sometimes a few magical moments. After an unknown kills during their set, the panel will put them over. Which can sometimes lead to the start of an upward trend in a comedy career.

On occasion, the show will offer performers a "Golden Ticket" during the interview segment. The "ticket" allows the guest to have a minute on the show whenever they'd like. They skip the random bucket format, and can just tell the show when they would like another minute. If they continue to deliver incredible performances, a comedian can be invited to become a regular on the show, and have constant appearances.

From some of the Golden Ticket winners and regulars, these opportunities have helped launch them into successful touring careers.

Which brings us to the show that will be coming to Bossier City this October. Two Golden Ticket winners from Kill Tony will be appearing at Bossier City's East Bank on Thursday, October 17th. Those two are Ric Diez and Heath Cordes.

Cordes had one of the most viral appearances on the show. His debut has been shared millions of times across various social media platforms, and you can see why here:

Heath became an instant success on the show, earning a Golden Ticket literally his first time on the show. The clip of that performance has been shared non-stop since it was first posted.

The other Golden Ticket winner didn't get his during his first set, but earned it very quickly. Rick Diez instantly became one of Tony Hinchliffe's favorite performers on the show, and its easy to see why.

Catch both of these Golden Ticket winners in Bossier City this October.
