Shreveport Woman Charged with Arson[Photo]

A 26-year-old Shreveport woman has been arrested for arson after allegedly setting a vehicle on fire.

Shuntell Thomas, of Hardy Street, was taken into custody for arson in a car fire that happened April 8th in the 4000 block of Hermosa Street.
Shreveport fire fighters responded to the scene to find a parked car on fire under the carport at a house.
The car was only smoldering when they arrived because the homeowner had extinguished most of the flames with a garden hose.
Fire crews found a small gas can next to the burning car.
No motive was given for the incident.
