Shreveport Teen Allegedly Raped at School

Shreveport police are investigating an alleged assault of a teenaged girl that happened at school.

Investigators responded to a call around noon yesterday, saying a 15-year-old girl said she had been raped by a 16-year-old boy.
The incident happened at Booker T. Washington High on Milam Street.
Police say the girl told them the boy pulled her into a janitorial supply closet, where he sexually assaulted her.
The girl was treated at a local hospital.
After interviewing witnesses at the school, police charged the boy with forceable rape. He was booked into the Caddo Parish Juvenile Detention Center.
