Shreveport native, and former Green Oaks High standout Tre'Davious White is joining two of his LSU teamates on the Bednarik Award Watch List for 2016.

White, who was a Thorpe Award semifinalist last year, is entering his senior season as a three year letter winner after starting 11 games as a true freshman, and become a starter in his sophomore year.

Here's more from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"LSU linebacker Kendell Beckwith, senior cornerback Tre’Davious White and junior safety Jamal Adams were all named to the Chuck Bednarik Award Watch list.

The Bednarik Award goes to the College Defensive Player of the Year. Beckwith was a semifinalist last year after finishing second on the team in tackles."
