Shreveport Fire Department’s First 2012 Smoke Alarm Campaign Is Saturday
The Shreveport Fire Department’s first Smoke Alarm Campaign of 2012 is this weekend, Saturday, March 24th.
Representatives from various SFD divisions, along with their community partners, will gather at Emmanuel Christian Ministries at 8:30 a.m. to get a run-down on the department’s goal to install 150 10-year smoke alarms.
This is one of three planned smoke alarm campaigns for this year targeting high-risk Shreveport neighborhoods. But residents can also get a free smoke alarm, or get their current smoke alarm serviced. Just contact the Shreveport Fire Department’s Fire Prevention Division at (318) 673-6740.
