We've made it through all but one game of the 2023 NFL Super Wild Card weekend. Tonight is the final first round game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys. A game absolutely full of 318 stars.

Shreveport (and the rest of the 'metro' area) has to be one of the best pound-for-pound NFL producing cities. For an area that has a much lower population than Houston or Miami, there are a pretty high number of NFL players that keep coming out of the 318.

In fact, there were local players all over this Super Wild Card weekend, and some of them are still alive in the playoffs. Let's take a look.

Tre'Davious White

Tre and his Buffalo Bills took care of the Miami Dolphins on Sunday and move on in the Playoffs.

Trent Taylor

On Sunday Taylor spent his evening returning punts against the Baltimore Ravens. The Bengals won, and move on to play the Buffalo Bills next weekend.

Brandon Wilson

So the Bengals have two Shreveport area guys, with Taylor and Brandon Wilson. However Wilson as placed on Injured Reserve late in the season, and won't be physically playing in the playoffs. But he's still a big part of the Bengals franchise, and would get a Super Bowl ring if the team wins it all.

L'Jarius Sneed

This one is a little unfair, because Sneed plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, and they had a first round bye in the playoffs. So he's still alive in the playoffs, but its because his team didn't play. We're about to keep the "unfair" part of this list going next...

Israel Mukuamu

Bossier City's Mukuamu plays defensive back for the Dallas Cowboys, who are still alive in the playoffs, but that's partially because the Cowboys haven't played their first playoff game yet. The Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers play tonight, and the game will have a few Shreveport area guys.

Donovan Wilson

Another Shreveport guy in the Dallas/Tampa Bay game will be Donovan Wilson. The Woodlawn product is another Cowboys defensive back from the 318.

Dak Prescott

Another star from the 318 in the Dallas vs Tampa Bay game is Dak Prescott. He will face off with the GOAT, Tom Brady. If Dak wins, it could go a long way in building his career, and silencing some questions.

Devin White

There will be a 318 guy on the other side of the ball in the Dallas/Tampa game. Former LSU star Devin White is one of the best linebackers in the NFL, and will be facing down fellow 318 star Dak Prescott all night.

Daniel Jones

We're going to claim Jones on this list because his performance against the Minnesota Vikings was so good this weekend. He had over 300 yards passing, a ton of great rushing plays, and a big fat win on the road in the playoffs. Why are we claiming him in the 318? Because he had one of the greatest Independence Bowl games ever in Shreveport.

His MVP performance in the 2018 Independence Bowl featured 423 passing yards and five touchdowns in a 56–27 victory over Temple. Setting records for both passing yards and passing touchdowns.

So we're going to claim Daniel Jones as an honorary 318 guy.
