Benton, LA resident Sydney Conley Elliott can safely be considered one of the best in the world when it comes to the sport of eventing after her third-place finish this weekend with QC Diamantaire at the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event Lexington CCI4*-S at Kentucky Horse Park in the 'Grand Slam of Eventing.'

And by the best in the world, I truly mean the best in the world. Equestrians from all over the planet converge each year at Kentucky Horse Park for North America's only CCI5* event and the accompanying Lexington CCI4*-S that Sydney competed in. Elliott is a lifelong equestrian and proof positive that we have world-class equestrian talent right here in northwest Louisiana. She made her debut back in 2016 at the Kentucky Three-Day Event with Cisko A when it was known as Rolex. Since then, she's represented us well as a member of the US Eventing Team and this weekend was her third trip around the imposing Kentucky course with 'Q.'

Speaking of imposing, here's a look at what the Land Rover Kentucky cross-country course looked like this year. Don't let that Corgi jump fool you. It may be cute, but it's HUGE!

This video tries to encapsulate what the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event is all about in just 30 seconds. As a two-time visitor, I can tell you that Land Rover is all this and so much more! It's truly, 'The Best Weekend All Year!'

US Equestrian posted this special on Sydney and her mount, QC Diamantaire, in advance of Land Rover in 2021.

This week QC Diamantaire ('Q') owned by Carol Stephens will be contesting his first CCI5* with #USAEventing's Sydney Conley Elliott in the irons at the 2021 Land Rover Kentucky 3-Day Event! Get to know more about this striking gelding with an incredibly consistent record (Top 10 placings in his last 13 FEI starts)! This video is brought to you by Ariat Equestrian.
