
Shreveport Police Investigating City’s 22nd Homicide on Easter
A Shreveport man found dead of a gunshot wound in his Queensborough home Sunday, April 9, 2023, has been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner's office.
John Anthony Crosby, 57, was found by concerned relatives just after 12:30 p.m. inside his residence in the 3300 block of Catherine Street.
Mr. Crosby was positively identified through fingerprint comparison.
Further information should be sought from the Shreveport Police Department, which continues to investigate the shooting.
An autopsy was ordered.
Mr. Crosby's death marks the 22nd homicide in Shreveport and Caddo Parish to date in 2023.
