Ex-New Orleans Saint Darren Sharper has turned himself in to police in Los Angeles following news that the New Orleans Police Department issued an arrest warrant for Sharper on Thursday on two counts of aggravated rape.

Last week, the former All-Pro pleaded not guilty to rape and drugging allegations in California. Sharper is now under investigation for a total of eight alleged rapes and 11 druggings in four states.

If convicted of aggravated rape, Sharper would be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, probation or reduced sentence.
