Sometimes, it can be hard to be a New Orleans Saints living in the Ark-La-Tex. It takes a whole day of travel to get to a home game, you don't get to attend a lot of the team events held for fans during the season, and sometimes you don't even get to watch your team.

You know the struggle well by now, because every time the Dallas Cowboys and the Saints play at the same time, the networks almost always flip the switch to the Cowboys game. It is a frustrating reality of living in a market that is split right down the middle between Saints fans and the Cowboy faithful.

But this week is going to be a little different for the Shreveport-Bossier City TV market...because the Cowboys have already played their game. Dallas played on Thursday night (losing to the Detroit Lions) which means the heavy lifting is done, and the TV schedule is wide open for the Saints to take over this Sunday.

Where Can You Watch The Saints Game This Weekend?

According to the latest broadcast maps released from 506Sports.com, the Saints are officially locked in for the Shreveport market this weekend...so you can breathe a sigh of relief. 506 Sports show that the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be broadcast in the Shreveport-Bossier City market on CBS, in the early window.

Kickoff is set for noon (local time) on Sunday, December 7th, and it looks like pretty much the entire state of Louisiana is going to get this broadcast.

This is a huge divisional matchup for New Orleans, and for once, you will be able to watch it from the comfort of your own couch without worrying about Jerry Jones' team bumping the Saints off the air.

Other NFL Viewing Options This Weekend

If the Saints game gets out of hand, or you just want to flip back and forth, there is actually another game that will draw interest locally being broadcast in Shreveport. This game will happen at the same time as the Saints game, but this one is on Fox. The network will be carrying the Cincinnati Bengals taking on the Buffalo Bills, and this one is absolutely loaded with Louisiana football royalty.

You have the obvious LSU Tigers legends leading the Bengals with Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase looking to light up the scoreboard...but the other sideline has a local hero too. Shreveport native, former Green Oaks Giant, and LSU icon Tre'Davious White will be looking to slow down that Bengal passing attack for the Bills. Making this a pretty interesting game for anyone who loves LSU football in the 318. It is rare we get two games this good on at the same time, so make sure your remote is close.
